About the Proposed Project

in 2019, we recognized a need for affordable rental housing in Comox. In response to this need, we are proposing three 4-story residential apartment buildings and one 4-storey mixed-use residential/commercial (on the ground floor) building to help with this demand. If approved, Aspen View will have a total of 208 market rentals and 24 condos.

The project will also provide space for a new daycare.

  • $142,000 cash-in-lieu contribution to the Town’s Affordable Housing Reserve Fund.
  • 22 adaptable suites.
  • Over $680,000 in-kind amenity contribution in the form of 6 condos, which we will sell to Comox at below cost.
  • Approximately $125,000 in curb, sidewalks, and pedestrian crossings along Aspen and Murrelet.

Our community members will be able to enjoy an on-site fitness centre, community garden, dog run, electric vehicle charging stations, and bike repair stations.
